This was another image from the outerbanks. We were getting icecream on the other side of the street, when my brother James pointed him out. I ran after him but the only way he would let me photograph him was to follow him to this spot so he could water his horses.
Death of a Seagull
I shot this back in august in the outer banks, but I withheld them because I made a few holga shots too and I was hoping they were better. They were just of the bird, and didn't have all the wonderful shapes and tones the sand and grass make in this image.

Mirrors
I shot this back in the summer and at the time I was really thinking about the way a digital camera records and the way film records, especially with long exposures and multiples. I never printed this because I didn't think it was quite there, but I love these chimneys and may use them in the future. I thought these were atleast worthy of a blog post.

Jesus, George Jones, Oxygen and the U.S.A.
Walking toward state street in Bristol VA. to Rhythm and Roots this morning, this window caught my eye, because it is such an interesting mix of signs. It was only there briefly when I returned to my vehicle later in the day it was all gone.

Riding the ferry to the Ocracoke, my friend Carrie told us to walk toward the women's restroom and look in the minivan beside it and we would know why. This was the result.
