A rare sighting in church
This is was taken back in early spring and the first time I shot with the Belair. This a Church near Penland School of Art. My friend Marty said something like I was having a outer body experience during the exposure and since he posed a photo of me outside the church I thought I would share it, even though I don't love the image.
Damascus VA,
Coming back from Bristol, I stopped in Damascus and sat on the banks and made a few photos. I have been trying to gain confidence in the ilford Titan. I haven't shot much pinhole or 4x5 film, so this is more of a test to gain confidence in exposure and developing sheet film again. Hopefully more to come.
The Mime
While in the city, to see the members show at the Light Factory, we went to the Taste of Charlotte which is all kinds of food from many restaurants around town on the street. I was kicking myself for not bringing a real camera but I got to try out the new Hipstamatic Lens (Madalena) and Lens (Robusta).

My photo placed second in the Light Factory's Member's show. I didn't make the opening which I feel bad about because I was on vacation, So I went down to see the show today and there is some great work that is definitely worth seeing.
Memorial Day Sale.
Seems like a good day for my best Walker Evans. Driving through Kingsport TN, This furniture company is risking business for political or religious expression, which I think is interesting.
